Our creative workshops integrate “In The Quiet Space” values of trust, care and quiet, promote self-calming and control, bringing more harmony into peoples’ lives. During these workshops, participants also learn and practice MicroCalming, “In The Quiet Space's” innovative technique of self calming, which enables us to move quickly from a stressed state to a place of inner quiet, where we can access inner resources and cope better.
Self Calming – A Coping Tool for Life
This 3 session workshop gives participants the opportunity to experience quiet, security, respect and calm; to learn how to set up a Quiet Space; and to learn the self calming technique. The technique, once acquired over a period of 30-40 days, enables all to regain more control over their lives by learning to cope with life’s pressures from a place of inner calm and to use their inner resources. The workshop is suitable for all populations; including the very young; in both regular and special education. Individuals, couples, families and groups can participate in the workshops at their place of work, at home, in the community or at the ITQS Center.
